New Year, New Me!

Christmas was very good in our house this year! Hayden told us it was the bestest Christmas he every had! That means a lot!! At least to Micheal and I! I was so excited for the holidays to get here. Now I am quit glad they are over! We are going to stay home for at least the next month!

We spent several days at my mom and dads. I always love going there. There is no where to go, so you are stuck in peace and quiet! Mom takes care of the boys, so get to sleep in, she cooks (alot), and sitting out by the fire is amazing. Hayden always reminds us that we do not have stars in Dallas, only at Nana's house!

We had a good Christmas and New Years with them. I got to see both of my brothers. I always love seeing them. My sister and my two nephews were there. I wish I saw the boys more but some people never grow up. Sometimes it best just to shut up and listen, whether you like what you hear or not.

We are going to Arkansas in February. Karen and Scott are getting married. I can't wait to see everyone! Especially Karen and Stephanie! I have missed them both so much!! We plan on spending 3 or 4 days there!

Now, my thoughts! Scary I know!

I have always been a very reserved person. I tend to just take crap and hold it in forever. I get mad and never tell anyone! I get used and walked on alot! My New Years resolution is to be a new Mistie! I have had a few problems in the past couple of weeks that I am making myself address today! I have already set up my appointments with the appropriate people. Now I have to!

I am an adult. I have a husband and two wonderful children that I take care of on a daily basis. I work 2 jobs and run a very scheduled household. There is no reason I should take someone elses crap just because they are old enough to be my mother. It seems to me, others need to grow up!

Now, I am going to step off my box and get back to work!
