Greatest Mommy Moment Ever

After 4 years as a mommy, I had my proudest moment last night. The boys (and Micheal) had their first t-ball practice!! I have never laughed so much in my life.
Imagine, 3 four year olds, 4 three year olds, 3 two year olds, and 4 fathers (with great patience, by the way) on this open field, with a bat, tons of balls, and a mound. I would like to say it started out organized but that would not be the truth. Is it possible to organize a group like this? I think not. If you know of a way, let me know!!

At one pint, Micheal was chasing a 2 year old across the field. Another day was taking care of a little one who had taken a ball to the forehead, and my Hayden picking flowers!

TGIF

After craving Einstein bros bagels for 2 weeks, I finally broke down for a bagel and coffee this morning! By the way, It is SOOOOO worth the calories!

We had our first t-ball meeting last night. Micheal is coaching the Diamondbacks. There are 4 four-year olds, 3 three-year olds, and 3 two year olds. Yeah, this mommy is not going to those practices!!!

I was asked last night if i was Hayden's sister. Sister!! I may enjoy that compliment in 10 years but I was kinda taken back. Is that how people see me when I am out with my boys, as their sister!~

Anyway, the parents all seem really great. We should have a great season. At least a really cute one!! I have now invested in Etergizer!!!

Stopping moment

The past few days have been a little upside down. Have you ever had that movie moment. The one where you are so happy with the greatest news in the world, while the split screen shows something that is going to change you life forever. That is what happened to me Tuesday evening.

I was standing in my kitchen, arguing with the boys to take their toys to their room when I received the call. A man named "Nashville Producer" name left out for reasons, was on the other end. Mr. Producer had heard my demo on my myspace page. After he finishes telling me I had a horrible demo, he proceeds to tell me I have one of the greatest vocals he has heard in awhile. We talked for several hours. Discussing the kind of artist I see myself as, the kind of music I want to sing, and what I am actually looking to do. I am jumping out of my skin. Do you know how long I have waited on a call like this? We leave our conversation with him sending me several cd of demo songs in hopes that together we will find something that fits me.

I have checked "Nashville Producer Man" out. I have called done everything but run a legal background check on this man. He is sooo real and sooo connected to many huge projects that have come out of Nashville.

Soon, Micheal got home and I gear up to tell him my great news. Now while I was on the phone, I failed to mention my phone beeped to let me know I have a text message. As I start to fill him in, I check my awaiting text.

Steph:"I got bad news 2day...I have a tumor n my leg and docs said there is no treatment." Stephanie has been battling cervical cancel for the past two years. They thought they got it all and it has come back with vengeance.

I immediately call Stephanie's mom. It was true. They are now trying to just keep her comfortable.

I am not sure what I will do without her in my life. She has been a great friend and is part of my family. Please keep her and her family in your prayers. Stephanie has a 9 year old little boys who is having a very hard time.
